Our commitment is to promote the educational and spiritual development of young children in a Christian environment.

History

Bascomb United Methodist Preschool, known as BUMP, began in 1986 as a small mother’s morning out program with just a few classes. Since then, it has grown into a full preschool that now serves between 75 and 100 families each year. Many of our former students are now returning as parents, bringing their own children. 

What We Stand For

Bascomb Preschool is a Christian school that teaches its students to love God and to be respectful and loving toward one another. Each week, our boys and girls attend chapel, where they learn a Bible verse along with a story from the Bible.

We celebrate American culture with events that teach our children about our country and heritage. We celebrate our grandparents and our Veterans. We come together as a family to share Thanksgiving and again when  all of the children participate in our Christmas pageant. We have fun Trick or Treating in the fall.  We celebrate Easter, our mothers and fathers, and end the year with a special  ceremony to say goodbye to our graduates.
